Under our ownership Evans Cycles delivered sales growth from £40m to £120m and ten-fold EBITDA growth to £7.5m. The business undertook at true omni-channel transformation, extending the retail network from 31 to 52 stores, building new digital and mobile platforms, and growing online sales from 24% to 32%.
We eschewed export growth in favour of UK market leadership, national coverage and direct consumer engagement. We curated the widest range of products and services and delivered the most consumer friendly proposition. In 2015, we exited the business with c.10x return to shareholders.
